Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does hard water cause kidney stones?

  1. A.This is a common belief in China, however research shows that kidney stones are made of Calcium Oxalate (草酸钙), not Calcium Carbonate (碳酸钙). In fact drinking large quantities of water, even very hard water, will dilute the calcium oxalate and reducing your chance of getting kidney stones.
